About Me
My name is Alejandro Vera. I am Brazilian and Colombian, and I am currently in the United States seeking new opportunities. In Brazil, I hold a degree in Environmental Engineering and a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing.
I am fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, with an intermediate level of English. I am passionate about dancing and love making new friends.
My arrival in the United States was not easy, especially because I did not speak English fluently. I faced many challenges and learned through experience how to adapt and make the most of what Boston has to offer.
I created this website with the goal of making new friends, learning about new cultures, and showcasing the best places to dance. Additionally, I want to help immigrants and visitors with the basic processes of adapting to life in Boston. Here, you will find tips on culinary experiences, bars, parties, museums, tourist attractions, and free English courses. I also share information on how to get free museum tickets and explore the city in a budget-friendly way.
Currently, I am developing the Secrets of Boston course in three languages (Portuguese, Spanish, and English) so that immigrants and visitors can enjoy the city in the best way possible without spending too much.
I am available to help, inform, and offer Spanish and Portuguese lessons while improving my English. I can also teach Brazilian dance and create valuable connections along this journey.
